Coaching: Archery (Ad hoc)

Here is a list of times I've helped out at my club on an Ad'hoc basis - offering support to club members when requested.

Details:

TS: Point of aim

Hours: 1.0
5 Aug 2012
Worked with TS on using the point of the arrow to aim with and not the riser. Devised 'a system' where she can work out where to aim by pin-pointing her 'point-on' distance.
Location: Bushey Copse

GT: Loose & follow through

Hours: 1.3
11 Jul 2012
Worked with GT on his loose and follow through. Managed to get him to stop dropping his bow arm and keep his position until he hears his arrow hit the target. Also got his to relax his hand on the loose and let the string slip off his fingers as opposed to trying the let go.
Location: South Wilts Archery Club
Total hours: 2.3

Coaching: Archery community 'Have-a-Go' events

During the summer my club attends many community fairs and events where members of the public can have a go at archery. The days are long but really good fun with people's ages ranging from 4 years to 90 years! It's important to help out as this helps us to find new members and support local charities.
